Active Acne
Acne is probably the number one skin concern across a large portion of the world population, with seemingly little regard for age, demographic or gender. For some patients, the problem is little more than a mild outbreak during puberty, for others it becomes a life-long battle between active breakouts and scar accumulation. Traditional treatment methods have either been expensive or carried significant side effects. The desperation of persons living with mild to severe acne need not continue.
Acne presents in various forms, such as blackheads and whiteheads, which are clogged pores filled with sebum, or oil and cellular debris. Whiteheads have not surfaced while blackheads are distinctive in their dark surface colour. Acne also presents as papules and pustules. Papules are tiny pimples that measure less than 0.5 centimeters across, also known as pinheads; pustules on the other hand are larger than papules and contain pus. Certain acne forms are painful. These include nodules and cysts. Nodules form deeper into the skin, whereas cysts are closed pockets of tissue that contain pus.
Active acne Venus Treatments effectively target both the cause and visible symptoms of acne-related skin conditions as described above, using IPL or intense pulsed light in the ACDual applicator. The applicator uses two light wavelengths; blue light to destroy the bacteria that causes acne and minimize future breakouts, and red light to clear acne-induced inflammation. Patients can enjoy noticeably clearer, healthier-looking skin. You will be able to live with more confidence and suffer less stress, which is also healthier for your skin.
