Venus Viva™ features both NanoFractional Radio Frequency and (MP)² technology. The NanoFractional Radio Frequency (RF) applicator is used for procedures requiring ablation and resurfacing of the skin, and the DiamondPolar™ applicator is used for non-invasive skin tightening and wrinkle reduction.
NANOFRACTIONAL RF™ APPLICATOR
Designed to replace all skin resurfacing devices, this technology helps reduce the appearance of acne scars, traumatic scars, striae, rosacea, dyschromia, deep wrinkles, enlarged pores, and uneven skin texture and pigmentation for all skin types.
A published clinical study shows that total surface area, length, and width of striae alba significantly decreased from the baseline (p < 0.001) four weeks after the last treatment. Patient satisfaction scores of “Satisfied” and “Very Satisfied” for changes on texture, size, and overall improvement were 96.67%, 93.94%, and 96.97%, respectively.
According to another peer-reviewed clinical study, NanoFractional RF™ is effective in improving skin texture and pigmentation.
PATENTED TIP TECHNOLOGY
The disposable tip features one of the largest spot sizes in the industry and delivers up to 700 pulses.
Small, needle-shaped pins easily deliver energy through the stratum corneum.
Energy is distributed and delivered through a micro-footprint per pin (160 x 38 µm2). Variable energy densities in a single tip reduces the risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation (PIH). By leaving sufficient intact tissue between micro-wounds, the result is faster wound healing and uniform post-treatment tissue appearance, while patients enjoy low downtime.
SMARTSCAN™ TECHNOLOGY
SmartScan™ uses a unique algorithm and pattern selection technology that enables the operator to generate customized patterns for greater flexibility and control to address the specific needs of each individual patient.
SmartScan™ enables ablation and coagulation of the epidermis and dermis zone in a fractional manner, resulting in more effective skin resurfacing for mild to severe skin conditions.
SmartScan™ eliminates the need to change tips mid-treatment for specific access. This makes sessions simpler, faster, and more cost-effective.
DIAMONDPOLAR™ APPLICATOR WITH (MP)² TECHNOLOGY
The proprietary (MP)² technology, a combination of Multi-Polar Radio Frequency (RF) and Pulsed Electromagnetic Fields (PEMF), is used to treat moderate to severe wrinkles and rhytides. The effect of Multi-Polar RF is enhanced by PEMF, a non-thermal treatment emitted through the applicator’s electrodes, which is available even if the RF energy is turned to 0%.
Multi-Polar RF uses a complex algorithm to deliver homogeneous heat energy to multiple tissue depths, allowing for quick and safe build-up of heat and easy maintenance of therapeutic temperature throughout the recommended treatment period.
Through synergistic (MP)², RF heats and directly stimulates fibroblasts, while PEMF is known to promote angiogenesis and induce fibroblast proliferation through release of the growth factor FGF-2, resulting in increased collagen synthesis.
(MP)² is therefore effective in collagen remodelling for skin tightening, and wrinkle reduction, and the creation of new capillaries for renewal of blood supply.
Unique electrode placement allows for treatment around the eyes, along the jowls, and other smaller areas.
Treatments with this applicator are comfortable with no downtime, and RF technology is proven safe for all skin types.
